Members of Nativity Parish in Brandon, Charlie and Gayle
have three children, a dog and many turtles. In addition
to giving of themselves as a Presenting Team Couple on
Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekends, they have
been serving as the Community Pillar couple for
the last three years. They have been responsible for the
production of such acclaimed favorites as the annual
Murder Mysteries, the Valentine's Day
party, and the annual Pilgrimage to the Shrine of
Our Lady Queen of the Universe in Orlando at the
start of Advent.
At the selection meeting Saturday, 4/4/09, they were
given a unanimous vote of approval. They will have a
term of office of two years, with an option for a one
year extension. By virtue of their selection as Area
Leaders for
TampaBay Worldwide Marriage Encounter,
Charlie & Gayle will also become members of the Board of
Directors of
Southwest WorldWide Marriage Encounter, Inc.,
which coordinates the activities of Section 5 WWME and
includes all of the southeast United States, from
Louisiana to Georgia to Florida and extending to the
Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
